yeh, im doing ok!... 2008 is going fine.. you know how we do!.. hehe..
pasensya na pare, lagi kitang na-iindian sa meeting naten.. sobrang busy ng sched ko this year..
maybe the heaviest schedule i've had in my life.. haha.. bawat oras eh ginto, di ko pwedeng sayangin, sobrang dami ng kaylangan tapusin at gawin sa musika naten...
im enjoying it though kase puro live performances.. nearly twice a month diba, so yeah, two-thousand and walo is great!..

man, it all started out sa love ko in poetry pero never had the desire to write then and also i love music, i studied music sa high school days ko until college so yeah medyo marunong akong mag-piano.. haha.. i finished 3rd grade in piano, hanggang dun lang..
actually inosente ako noon pag-dating sa hiphop, ang alam ko lang na rappers noon ay sina Francis M (be strong idol, we are all praying for you) .. and Andrew E pero sa tagal ko na dito sa UK London, i've forgotten about them.. and then narinig ko sa bahay ng pinsan kong si Costas dito sa London
na tumutugtog CD ni Tupac and Eminem.. oh yeh big up Costas pala my cousin.. hehe.. brraap brraapp, graduating university this year.. congrats bro..
then yun, their lyrics was so serious and deep, filled with emotions about their life experiences and encounters.. also the rhyming of each syllables.. its crazy.. and that triggered me to hiphop, kinakabisado ko pa noon ang mga verses nila kase na-iinggit ako at kabisado ng iba.. (el-ow-els)...
i even tried writing a few nursery bars in english but they were wack.. until i heard a song by idol Gloc-9.. titled: Bakit... sabi ko damn, may nagrarap na tagalog and the flow is sickkk.. so yun, until i remembered na may rappers nga rin pala ang pinas.. so that got me intro writing even more pero this time, representing my own language.. which is tagalog.. sa mga inuman back in 2000, lagi akong nagrarap pag laseng na using the same bloody verse over and over again.. hahahhaa.. masaya na ako non.. then pinakilala saken ng kaibigan kong si Gerald.. people knows him as Hudas Ng Kamatayan..

i've had the tag name KyD since 1998 pa, sa mga computer games, e-mails, i always used the name KyD...
nag-iisang bata na walang kaparehas.. that's what it meant for me.. so yun, i used it all the way till now..

How’s the mixtape going? I heared that you are due to release a second one?

yeah, the mixtape is going crazy at the moment... hear this, i only pressed a few hundred copies
and sold nearly all of them and still i'm getting requests from all over the world.. salamat nga pala sa lahat ng bumili at sumuporta.. at sa mga haters ko jan.. GITNANG DALIRI... also, i'm giving my man Aziatik 10 copies for him and Q-Ball to give away on LS Radio.. check nyo nga pala.. (www.lirikongsupremo.com/lsradio).. bagong tunog ng pinoy hip-hop..

Now you are the co-president with Azi sa LS Records give us a brief history kung kelan nag umpisa ang LS?

well, it all started nung nagkawatak-watak yung lumang record label namen, which was RAW Records (Rebel Artist Wreckordz).. sa mga nakasubaybay ng first pinoy hiphop scene sa internet, i'm sure alam nila na isa rin sa mga naunang independent internet record label ang RAW... kasabay ng, Kalibre, Bahay, Ngangaw, Sandamukal... yan lang ang natatandaan ko na kasabayan namen nung 03.. then yun nga, nung nasira ang RAW.. naisip ko na bakit hindi nalang gumawa ng sariling record label.. biling ako ng biling sa higaan ko.. excited eh.. so tumawag ako kay pareng Aziatik..
i told him the idea, he liked it.. so then nag plano na kame kung pano sisimulan, then nag contact sya ng mga rappers na kilala nya sa yahoo.. ganun din ginawa ko hanggang natayo ang LS Records.. syempre kasama ka dun diba pare!.. hehe.. di pwedeng mawala ang T.Max sa tabi ko.. haha..
marami kaming nagsimula, marami ding sumali, at maraming nawala.. at marami rin ang na reject!.. sensya nalang peeps..
dati walang pumapansin samen, pero we kept going.. doin our own thing.. hanggang may nag hate, may nag appreciate.. then yun.. big bang... nakilala ang LS.. ofcourse isa rin sa dahilan ay ang pagiging sobrang loyal ni pareng T.Max.. he gave us so many gigs, more than our haters' mums fat flab in the belly.. so now.. LS Records is going crazy all over the net.. and all over UK... kami ang first independet pilipino record label dito sa UK, doing real live performances.. dami ring organizers na
kumukuha samen d2.. pero we plan to take it sa pinas soon... very soon.. i mean i'm bloody 24.. we're all getting old.. so we have to take it there soon..
make this thing a professional registered label..

How did you feel nung nag-alisan ang mga ibang members?

man, i felt happy.. coz they we're wack.. hahahaha... they we're bloody crap... lolz.. a scrap that you can't even return to the lost and found section coz they stink.. hahhaha.. yung tatamaan, siguradong tinamaan kase pinapatamaan ko.. lolz.. di pa ko nag mintis eh.. at masakit to mag mintis man.. brrraaaaaaaAAAAAppppPPP...

You always mention your hood sa Pinas which is Santa Rosa, Nueva Ecija any plans of expanding LS there? Maybe going back and performing as well?

yeah, ive got plans.. magpapa-rap contest din ako dun, sa kilalang mall samen which is N.E. Pacific.. or maybe compete as a wanna be rapper.. lolz.. jokes lang.. pero yeah, pag nag pa contest ako dun katulad nung ginawa mo sa N.V. Solano .. hehe.. that was nuts by the way.. yeah, kaylangan kasama kayo ni Aziatik as judges aite.. hehe..

Peeps have been giving you props as “Hari ng Inglatera” and the Best in London (as a Pinoy Mc) tell me, how do you feel about that?

damn, parang an laki ng korona nayan ah... liit ng ulo ko pag sober ako.. hindi mag kakasya.. haha.. penge ng maraming alak.. ng lumake.. siguradong kakasya yan.. haha... nakupo, as pinoy mc, wag naman, marami nanaman mag hahate nyan.. marami nanaman akong tatawagan , babantaan at hahamunin.. (boxing)....lolz.. yoko na ng gulo eh..
pero yeah, mga nag props saken, maraming maraming salamat.. kung makikilala nyo lang ako ng totoo, mabait naman ako, ma-aasahan at mapapagkatiwalaan sabi nila.. so dont hate.. i think its coz of being the first pinoy to grime in tagalog.. kaya nila nagustuhan ang style ko.. dito sa london.. since grime is the hiphop scene in uk and grime was born here, nahiligan ko sya and so i got the flow of grime (garage) locked down kaya fluent na sya sa pagsulat ko..
sana di kayo tumigil sa patuloy na pag supporta nyo saken at sa mga katulad ko na gumagawa ng musika dito sa ibang bansa.. kahit na ganun ang pilipinas.. alam ko na mahal natin lahat yan.. that's why we keep raising the flag up high, and letting it flow with the wind.. like what stamina always says.. "united we stand, divided we fall"... (big up pala kay stamina.. tol.. d2 parin kame para sayo..whatever happens.. aite.. miss ka namen..)
so yeah, imma keep doin this thing basta may sumusuporta saken.. i do this for all the filipinos abroad..

How is the Tour going?

man, it's great.. at least naranasan ko rin kung pano ang feeling ng isang sikat.. yung may bibili ng CD mo, may mag papapicture sayo.. at may mag papa-autograph..
nag papractise nga ako minsan sa bahay ng pag sign ng autograph.. hahaha.. at yung feeling ng maraming taong papalakpak sayo sa stage pagkatapos ng performance.. pati yung sinasabayan ka nila habang nag rarap ka.. damn.. it feels good.. maskabisado nga nila verse ko eh... hahaha.. the tour was mad.. different audiences, different props.. may pang kanto na "boi, ang lupet mo".. at may mga professional na "excellent performances".. lolz.. so its heavy..

man.. madalas ako masawi sa pag-ibig.. dahil siguro sa pangalan na dala ko.. it ain't easy to find the right one for us.. pero sorry ladies, TAKEN na si Emman.. pero si KyD nandito lang nagmamahal sa inyo at nangangailangan ng pagmamahal nyo at suporta..
sa tingin ko nahanap ko na yung para saken.. sana sya na un.. madali lang ang hanap ko sa babae.. gusto ko mapagmahal (sa language ni Q-Ball mapamahal..lolz..)
yung marunong magluto (especially tinola), malinis sa bahay, mapaglingkod, laging nagbibigay ng atensyon at di nakakalimot, marunong magkusot kapag may labahin at sira ang washing machine, pero ayaw ko ng katulong ha.. lolz.. guto ko ng seryoso, hindi short term, at ayaw ko sa mga liar, gusto ko matapat at loyal.. at syempre may sobrang good sense of humour kase napaka loko loko ko eh.. i always find something funny out of any thing i see or hear or do.. gusto ko loka loka rin sya.. gusto ko laging
humahalakhak kase malaki ang bunganga ko eh.. hahaha.. so i like to laugh..hahaha.. hahaha.. BWAHAHHAA.. lolz.. buhay ka pa!..

Last year you met up with Circulo Pugantes in Pinas how did that come about and how was that meeting hooked up?

yeah, di naman sa buong circulo, i met kuya Denmark and kuya Banong Bagsek (Klutch-B).. im sure naman karamihan sa net rappers na umuuwi ng pinas eh na memeet sila kase napakabait nila and really down to earth.. di sila mayabang.. nako sobra nga tawanan namen kase pareparehas kameng komidyante.. lalo na si kuya Denmark.. lolz..
kasama ko si Aziatik and Illshot nung nakipagmeet kame (big up illshot na nasa amerika na ngayon.. keep reppin bro.. congrats ulet sa inyo ng misis mo pare.. magkikita rin tayo, promise yan..)
nagkaroon kame ng chance ma meet sila dahil tumulong si Aziatik sa pag distribute ng Album nilang "Todas" dito sa UK.. and apparently.. ka close napala ni illshot silang dalawa..
lolz.. lagi ngang alaskado si illshot.. pinag tutulungan nila kuya denmark and kuya Bryan.. the meeting was nice and chilled.. nag tanong lang kame about stuff na di ko na i didiscuss dito..
next time pag uwi ko, meet ulet kame.. yo, kuya Denmark, yung promise mo ha.. exotic foods tayo.. hahhaa..

yung first beef ko sa net, mga chipmunks.. yung pangalawa mga terorista.. pangatlo mga dwende na kulang ng isa... pang apat eh di ko pinatulan, masarap pang mag higab kesa sulatan..lolz..
tapos may nakikisinget na mga bata.. power rangers daw sila kase lima rin sila.. tinira ka rin nun diba??.. then may tumira nalang saken ng biglaan na kagrupo ko dati sa LS, naka bato yata..
and then yung last eh pinagpapraktisan ko lang na gustong maging superhero.. pero ayan sumikat tuloy.. lolz.. pero lahat sila, ang tawag ko ay Robin.. sila ang mga Robin sa laro.. mga sidekick lang.. bobo kase..
kase isa lang talaga ang pwedeng maging bida dito.. you ge' meh!.. bobo o hinde, they were all wack..

The future of LS as a label? How do you see LS in 5 years time?

LS is reachin its goal soon.. we're at the peak right now.. need to erupt soon.. at sana, Lord willing, in 5years time maging tunay na record label na to..
at ma dala na sa pinas, i might not be rapping anymore by then pero i'm definately not gonna stop producing and composing for LS..

nah, my bro (aka K - double O - L) is shy on the mic.. hahaha.. nung bata sya, he used to rap in english..ginagaya nya mga rappers like Eminem, Dizzie Rascal, Kano etc..
im sure naririnig nyo yung batang sumisigaw ng "Yoga Fiyah Productions" sa ibang introductions ng LS songs.. that's him..
pero now.. naging rakista eh.. hahaha..
mahilig sa gitara.. expert na nga sa Guitar Hero 3 on Wii.. nakaka-adik kase, di ko sya matalo..haha.. mind you, i used to play guitar nung elementary ako.. haha
pero we'll see where he lands..
