Seasons greeting to all of you!! This ya boy T.Max reviewing the year once again and yes whew that went fast!! So here we go..
January we kicked off at FM with the continuation of Grab the Mic tour this was not just an emceeing event (hip-hop wise) we also invited dancers, singers and grime artists. March saw us going out of town in Bromley (southern England) and despite some technical difficulties on the soundsystem we still did our thing! My label mate Kyd released his first MIXTAPE “Aking Nadarama” a 20 track banger full of top of the notch beats and lyrics, sadly the CD is now out of stock due to popular demand.. Kyd also released his second MIXTAPE “I stand por all FOBS”. April saw us going back to FM for the 1st Pinoy Hip-Hop extravaganza, a closer look at hip-hop art form we had breakdancers, graf artist and turntablist and emcees of course. Yellow kid our fellow LS Europe labelmate from Norway came down to represent, maraming salamat sayo pare your performance was one of the gigs highlight.

May was a busy month we had 2 gigs one was up north big up the Pinoy community in Blackpool for having us, Chairman Jun and Madam Yolly for the accommodation and of course Kuya Julius for the transport. Filmefilms had their first anniversary and gave us two slots Azi, Kyd and Cras on the mic and I had a turntable set. June was also hectic Azi and I received accolades as Volunteer of the year @ the 2nd Volunteer of the year awards @ Paul Robenson theatre and on the same month we performed at Hounslow Lampton Park during the Pinoy Independence day many thanks to FYF for providing the soundsystem. July saw us heading to Leeds for the first Fili Festival there props to Gayle aka Ningning for sorting out our spot and do check the videos on Youtube where I did a little documentary.

On a sad note the tour had to end in August this year, we returned to Hounslow (Paul Robenson) for one last hurrah, we were only contracted for 6 months but the tour went on for almost 2 years! We returned to Blackpool in September for Pinoy Skillz, many thanks to Camille aka Xeximomah for looking after us and big up DS Productions for participating. Q-Ball, Azi and I were invited to perform at Mr and Miss Philippines UK 2008, congratulations to our fellow LS member Kayce De Guzman aka Hiwaga (Flexies) for baggin’ 3rd place. Lastly this December we had our Grab the Mic reunion concert at Hounslow where series of tour and concerts all began way back in February 2007! So there it is folks I hope I did not miss anything, apologies if I did! LS fam will be back next year, we are already in talks with Watford and Leeds. Big up to all the fans and listeners who attended the gigs we love you all and if you are a hater we love you too!! Enjoy the turkey and cranberry sauce.
